My Gratitude diary for SFHEA

On the journey of SFHEA (Senior Fellow of HEA), there are many people who are in it with me and without them, this would not be possible.  Many of them are in the journey of the story in the application and many others are involved in the process of preparing and submitting applicatoin.  My gratutitudes are to πŸ’™ Assoc.Prof.Dr. Wutthichai Narkraksa, who is my senior project advisor and the teacher of the Introduction to Packaging Class at KMITL.  He encouraged me to continue my study in Packaging as well and inspired me of active learning - back then it was a quite new in Thai Higher Education. πŸ’™ The late Prof.Dr.Ruben J Hernandez, who has given me the opportunity to teach, which led me to find my new passion.  I haven't stopped loving it ever since. πŸ’™ Prof.Dr.Bruce Harte, who was also my second advisor.  He has been a role model both in teaching and leadership.  Last time when I met Dr.Harte, he has another food for thought that I have adopted: "You will...

Robert Hurwitz - a near and dear friend

The news was brought to me on Sep 17 when I stop briefly back in the office during the ongoing workshop that Bob passed away.  I learned later that he parted on the night of Sep 15, 2020 at the age of 77. I can't stop myself from crying but the show must go on.  When I stopped sobbing, I went back up to the workshop to stay until it finished having a hard time holding my tear.  I continued to cry hard during the drive home and more after the meeting with my senior project advisees. The last time I met him was when I was in Michigan in October 2019.  He came along with Drs.Harte to have lunch with us to celebrate my birthday at Korea House, a place where we often go while I was still in East Lansing.  He still like to talk a lot but he seemed frail and speak much slower.  He definitely ate less and was not as animated as he was.  I was wondering if I would have a chance to meet with him again.  I said good bye with an uneasy feeling before sending ...
